Was a great last minute find. Loved the room, we got in late but no TV in the room which was fine for us. Only wish the lobby was open in evening. Would highly recommend for a couples weekend. The room, bed was comfortable and clean. Loved that there was a good fan in the room as I'm used to sleeping with one. Adorable place and grounds with plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. Close to town so it's a great location. About the only suggestions I would make would be to add a little more lighting in the bathroom & shower and a small table in the sitting area. I would had preferred to have better water pressure in the shower, access to a microwave and coffee pot around the clock, some sort of cabinet, shelves or drawers to put away clothes, and a TV in the room, but it was a good stay. Our room upstairs was just what we needed; nice and cool, super comfortable bed with fabulous sheets that felt luxurious! Very unique property, lots of southern charm and nice decor. Our room was very hot and did not cool down. There is no thermostat for the room so what ever temperature they want you to bake at is what you are stuck with. There was a security light outside of our room that shined in the window all night. It would cut off and on every 30 seconds. Very annoying. Had there not been other guests I would have slept in the hallway where it was cool and no security light…. The mattress took firm to a whole other level. Needless to say we got very little sleep.
