The room was in terrible shape. Water coming up through the seams in the flooring. Bath tub was rusted and the refinish was coming off. Lots of cigarette burns on everything. The floor and everything looked like it was clean with a greasy rag. Stains and cigarette burns on the bed clothes. Rust and corrosion on door frames and even the microwave was heavy rusted. The AC unit wouldn't shut down. I had to unplug to turn it to turn it off.
I couldn't stand another night there. I left early. I want ever go back there ever. If this is how Motel 6 operate I'll never stay in another one.
Arrived late night. Receptionist is talking with another guest about how she loves night shift because people are too tired to complain. I knew I was in for a treat! Nothing in the room. No chair, no lamps other than the unmovable bedside. If you have any work to do youre sitting on the bed to do it on the tiny shared bedside table. Most basic TV service with crappy remote. Pool opens at 10am? I wouldn't have bothered to leave a review but this is just a bad policy! I just wanted a swim before I left for the morning at 9! 10 in the summer in GA is just bad service. I did ask if I could go early, same lady told me no. Cigarette burns on blankets on both beds in my non-smoking room. You get a bar of soap. Beds were made daily with your old sheets even if getting dirty. The little bit of IKEA style furniture was falling apart. Just a bad stay, and I'm not picky!
Do not go to this motel. My truck driver husband and I needed an air conditioned clean room for 6 hrs with our son and we were completely disgusted. We stay at plenty of motels and this is hands down the nastiest one.
I bought it as a king room, he gave me queens bed room. Room 214 was given two small beds. I went to the reception again. He said, there is no other room, there is no king left, I can't do anything. He was an old men, he looked like the owner of the hotel. All night, he was at the recepcion.
He was rude, never go again
My fiance and I have stayed here before but now were bk to stay longer this time. They are very nice. My fiance goes to work and most the time im home if I dont work. Its nice. Love it.
While clean and quiet, the rooms, specifically the bathroom, was really in need of refurbishing. I had to change rooms because in the first one, the tub faucet was broken from the wall so the knob for the shower didn't work. Unfortunate since I was already unpacked and had gotten undressed. The beds and pillows are what you would expect for a sub-$100 room; semi comfortable but they don't take a lot of pride in laundering (some small stains on the cover sheet and seriously wrinkled). Very few outlets. This is also an extended stay motel so there are long term people living there but I didn't feel unsafe at any time. I didn't use the pool, but it looked clean and nice area around the pool.
While the property itself was pretty clean the room was less than we had hoped for. I saw a roach within minutes, silver fish in the morning. I woke up from under the sheets with dirt all over. Other than that the staff was friendly and have been notified about the room and said they would look into it
