Great service, the room was perfect, a cozy hotel for a great price, i definitely recommand to anyone passing by simcoe that want to stay!

Je fut brusquement réveillée à 02:00 de la nuit par de forts bruits provenant de la chambre au-dessus. Après quelques minutes d’incessants bruits de pas, j’ai fait appel au Front desk clerk qui m’a répondu que les gens quittaient. Après avoir insisté que c’était très déplorable cette situation, il m’a dit d’attendre 10 minutes, les gens quittaient pour aller travailler!!!!! Les bruits ont continué passé 02:21 et lorsque j’ai rappelé à nouveau le préposé à la réception pour me plaindre une seconde fois, il m’a dit qu’il m’avait dit qu’ils quittaient pour aller travailler. Il aurait appelé mais n’aurait pas eu de réponse à son appel. J’ai insisté pour qu’il les avertisse et il m’a dit qu’il ne pouvait pas quitter son poste, qu’il avait à faire un rapport car les gens « checkaient out » et qu’ensuite il y verrait. J’ai dit que c’était inacceptable et que je ferais une plainte formelle au matin. Sur quoi il m’a dit qu’il tenterait de les rappeler. Il était 02:33 lorsque c’est redevenu calme. TOTALEMENT INACCEPTABLE COMME RÉPONSE ET GROS MANQUE DE JUGEMENT DANS L’ATTRIBUTION DES CHAMBRES DES CLIENTS!!!!

Shirley, we apologize for your being woken up so early in the morning by some of the workers we have staying with us that are working early in the morning. I will speak to the teams manager about having a little more respect for the other guests staying with us. When travelling away from home, there is no greater aggravation that being woken up by other people staying at the hotel. We are very sorry. We appreciate your business and we will use your feedback to help us improve our guests experience.

Excellent service. We requested a cot and it was waiting in the room when we checked in. On top of that they had towels, soap and shampoo for all five of us. In all the hotels I’ve stayed in, nobody has remembered this and has never pro-actively put out extra of everything. Well done!

Our stay over Christmas was a great option for us. While the hotel is dated, the rooms were clean and fairly spacious. The hotel staff were excellent. And the price was very reasonable. Will definitely stay there again when we visit against in the future.

We have stayed here often and will return whenever we are in town. The staff here are amazing. They even took time to write a personalized sympathy card for us when we experienced the loss of a loved one. The facility is clean and restful, and our children love the pool and sauna!

No continental breakfast, good restaurant attached , but no discounts for staying at the Travel Lodge. Rooms ok nothing great, funny smell. Check in person not very friendly. When we wanted to check out 1 day early, was charged for the day as not enough notice. Will not stay again.

Nice little trip
My wife wanted to stay over night somewhere for fun you know just to get out of the house. We found this hotel out of simcoe and it looked good it had a pool and restaurant built right into it. We got there front desk was great fast check in and we got into our room quick and decided to have some dinner at the restaurant “The Shire” it was good food I really enjoyed the jumbo wings, and after we ate we went for a dip in the pool nobody but us we had the pool to ourselves which was great! Stayed in the pool for about an hour and went back to our room to rest and eventually go to sleep. I really enjoyed the stay we had everything at the hotel we didn’t need to leave at all, I would love to go back again
