The two beds were reasonably clean, exept we found a very large spider crawling in the blankets. It wasn’t a pleasant experience. Furthermore, this building is in dire need of renovation : The wallpaper is peeling on the Wall. The carpet is old, the room looks as old as the building itself, and the bathroom door is in a state of advanced disrepair. No, I do not recommend this establishment. It’s a shame for the owner, but they need to invest to create a Hotel worthy of a Day inn

All amenities are great from breakfast to the pools. Staff very polite and professional. Room was clean Hotel well situated with free parking.

Overall, we had a good stay. The location is beautiful, peaceful, and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, the cleanliness was disappointing. There was a lot of dog hair inside the cabin and on the outdoor furniture and cushions. We also found dust and cobwebs around the ceiling and light fixtures, making it seem like the cabin had not been cleaned thoroughly before our arrival. Considering the price, I expected a much cleaner accommodation. I understand that guests are expected to wash the kitchen items they use and leave the cabin tidy, but I was surprised that we were also expected to strip the beds and sweep the floors before checking out. For the amount we paid, I don’t think guests should have to do part of the cleaning themselves, especially when the cabin wasn’t spotless upon arrival. The location is wonderful, but better cleaning and more reasonable checkout expectations would make the experience much better.

Room was ok. Towels under stocked. No hair dryer. No shampoo/ conditioner/ body wash in containers in shower. Beds were comfortable. The included breakfast was sorely lacking. No o.j. Minimal fruit selection. Items not restocked. Tables not cleaned as people left. I did not use the pool. The lack of general maintenance was apparent. I have stayed there in previous years when it was a Best Western and it was fine. Obviously, the lack of corporate standards has affected my opinion of this property. I will not chose this hotel again.
