"Hotel room was clean and tidy. Better than some other hotels I’ve stayed at for comparable price. Staff cleaned room and replaced towels daily. Good hot shower. Stayed 5 nights. Was disappointed to hear they are tearing hotel down to build truck stop."

Cozy family sized country getaway with private pool and outdoor sitting area

"My sisters and I had a great time at The Highland House. It was peaceful and private and just what we were looking for to relax and reconnect. The house was extremely clean and well-supplied. The pool was so beautiful and we enjoyed having it to ourselves. Brad and his wife even brought us "snacks" to feed the cows. So fun to be able to see them up close. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home!!! "
"Fantastic place to stay. Really cute. Close to Chillicothe and Trenton. The Asian Beatles were really a pain, but they were everywhere we went. Cleaning fee was a little much considering everything we did for clean-up. We would stay there again. "
"The house was very nice. It is on the edge of a very small town and so is isolated. My wife and I went birding at Swan Lake for our anniversary and spent the night here. The host was super nice and communication was easy. We were very pleased with our stay. If your looking for an out- of- the- way escape, I would highly recommend this house. On a side note, we had dinner at River Bottoms Brewing Company in Carrollton. I highly recommend it as well. "
