"Bear Paw Lodge provides everything you can dream of for your family holiday! But the extra little things that are there that you don’t expect like boxes full of indoor and outdoor games and bicycles of all sizes as well as most household soaps and spices speaks of a very thoughtful and gracious host. It is a real pity we only booked one week!"

"Fantastic place. Maximum flexibility with bed arrangements to accommodate men’s ski trip. Easy ski out. Short Walt to ski in. Hot tub very clean. BBQ new and even burning heat. Bed mattresses in places some guys did not like because they were a bit soft and lumpy but each had their preference. Kitchen and common spaces very roomy and accommodating to large group. Would stay here again."
"This was my second stay at Chancellor Peak. We stayed in chalet #14 which is private with an amazing view of the Peak and the surrounding nature. The chalet complex is located right at the Kootenay River. The area is very quiet and there are bears as well. A black bear came looking for food around the chalets a couple of nights. Overall a great place to stay and good value."
"Property is near the highway, but just far enough back to avoid the noise. The pool & slide are great, and they have a little playground. The breakfast is adequate, and there's not a lot you can walk to from the hotel. Overall pretty good."
