Very hot no air conditioning couldn't sleep too hot . We were on first floor no breeze and porch could use a good cleaning chair and table all full of dust bird poop on front steps from weeks ago not fresh very disappointed

In the winter this property would get 4-5 stars. But not having AC, and staying on the 4th floor the temp in our room was well over 35 degrees. After several cold showers I was able to get to sleep, but with on how hot summers have been in the Rockies as of late, this upgrade needs to be made. It’s literally unbearable to stay in the room for most of the day

Hard to get to. Limited dining options and Golden is too far away as an option. Property is getting old and weary and the furniture and carpeting show this. Until the owners get it together and realize this area CAN be a summer destination, the Lodge will remain a travelers distant second option.

It’s a beautiful drive up to the lodge, views are incredible! It’s a lovely place to stay, tho it seemed as tho the cleaning could be better, rooms were a little dusty…other than that, it’s a great place to stay. Love that it’s out in the mountains instead of in town!

The drive up the property was longer than expected but worth the wait. The view was gorgeous, the food was incredible, and room had everything we needed. If I had to say what I didn't like, I wish there was a pool, and there wasn't much to do outside the building, seemed like a lot of work happening on the grounds, but that is to be expected during the off season.

The staff, amenities, and scenery were excellent. It was slightly out of our way, but the price was great. Having a small fridge, microwave, and bar sink were also very helpful.

No air conditioning it was horrible and hot . The rooms are all carpet and strained it’s so gross. Elevator wreaks . It’s gag worthy . Restaurant is also carpet which is so nasty . Would not come back
