The property advertising is very misleading. Where was the pool? Where was the onsite catering aside from breakfast? The accomodation was okay, if very isolated. No daytime cafes, just a couple of restaurants that only open for lunch, sometimes dinner. The fridge in my room didn’t work, so I couldn’t bring in an improvised meal. Like one other reviewer, I felt like I wanted my money back! So misleading!

Hôtel Bien-Être Aux Cyprès de Marquay is a wonderful place to stay in the heart of the Périgord Noir. The hotel is situated in the beautiful and peaceful village of Marquay, surrounded by the magnificent countryside of the Périgord Noir. It is the perfect location for exploring the region while still offering a wonderfully calm and relaxing place to return to at the end of the day. The property is charming and full of character.
What made our stay truly special was Mario. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely charming. His warmth, helpful advice, and personal attention made us feel completely at home.
To summarize, it's a beautiful hotel with outstanding hospitality. I would return without hesitation!
