It's a short walk to the beach. Bungalow Beach offers brand new, 3BR/2.5Bath, 1600+ sq. ft. homes with the best island beach access location, which is directly across from the Bungalow Beach entrance. Amazing sunrises and sunsets from the two covered decks, one facing the Gulf and one facing Galveston Bay. This 10-acre community with its large open green spaces and a private freshwater pond offers wildlife/bird watching as well as catch-and-release fishing. We loved that we were located in a quiet area and we could be self sufficient for our meals. Walmart is about 30 minutes away but we did a shopping day and then spent time in Galveston itself. We had a marvellous time at Mardi Gras and spent time at the Pier. Again it was so nice to walk and return to a well equipped and nicely organized beach house. ##### Eric G. Communication with the property manager was outstanding. We unfortunately had a power outage during our stay but he stayed up to date with us every hour to make sure we knew what was going on and that we were taken care of. Property is beautiful.
