"The host is very attentive and eager for you to enjoy your stay. We liked being in the country. The kitchen is well equipped and the property is very close to a big grocery store. I think this location gives you good access to nearby areas (Serra Mamede for example) well as the points of interest in Portalegre. We really enjoyed the textile museum. Aida provided us with jams, oranges, and croissants for breakfast. It was a nice stay."

Met us with a home-made orange cake and had many suggestions for the area. We hope to return sooner rather than later."

"Inicialmente ficámos surpreendidos, uma casa do século XVIII com muitos traços de origem e escadasíngremes, muito características da época, três pisos. Foi uma ida ao século referido com a simpatia da D. Rosário que nos recebeu e barrou o bolo com a história da casa. Obrigado"

"We spent seven days here in April, 2023. This is a lovely village with everything you might need for a great time. Restaurants were exceptionally good. The people were very nice and outgoing. Many spoke English. Lots of good walking in the area. We'd go back to this area in a heartbeat. If you go don't miss nearby Marvao castle and village. As for the house, there are 38 steep steps from the lower level up to the terrace. The middle flight is steepest and has no handrail. The house is 3 levels...

"Casa espaçosa, decorada com esmero, bem iluminada e plenamente equipada. Muito confortável no inverno. A lareira funciona bem, assim como os aquecimentos. O único aspecto menos positivo é a irregularidade da pressão da água nos duches, um problema partilhado em toda a aldeia. Comunicação com o proprietário e check-in excelentes. Altamente recomendada."

"A nossa estadia foi maravilhosa. A casa é fantástica, ideal para dois casais e duas crianças. As vistas da sala mergulham-nos no alentejo e transmitem-nos uma paz reconfortante. A Sandra recebeu-nos com muita simpatia e os cães dos donos da propriedade fizeram as delícias de miúdos e graúdos! Recomendo vivamente!"
