Très grande auberge de jeunesse avec 200 lits. Déjeuner très industriel sucré. Fruits et oeufs payants. Personnel serviable. Bonne situation au centre d'El Calafate.

Value for money- it’s great for budget travelers looking for inexpensive places to stay in. Don’t expect the bells and whistles. I’ve had to rent a towel for 1000 pesos, which is fine.

A good place to stay with everything needed to sleep and recharge after a long day out. The breakfast starts at 6:30am. Don’t expect anything fancy, bread & pastries with coffee to keep you going for the morning.

Private room with private bath was a must for us. Calafate Hostel’s private rooms were clean, safe and affordable. Staff was super friendly and helpful! Will return!

This was our second stay at Calafate Hostel one week after our first visit. Staff is amazing. Super helpful! Included breakfast is simple with reasonably priced delicious ala carte items available. Kitchen staff super friendly.

Convenient location to walk to main streets or lake. Most staff helpful though incorrect information caused a problem with my airport transport. Breakfast was very ordinary.

A place like this shouldn't be on hotels.com
we stayed in two different room, standard and delux, both in terrible shape: the bathroom with water leakage has the floor always wet, the sheets with stains of various nature, the lights only partially working. the breakfast isn't edible, I served better meals at the homeless shelter. this is a B tier hostel, avoid it.

If you want somewhere clean, don’t go here. A friend and I stayed in two different rooms on two different stays during our time at Calafate Hostel. I was motivated to book due to the value for such a highly-rated set of rooms. I’m writing this review so that you don’t make the same mistake. I don’t think either room knows what clean actually means. Neither floors had been brushed or surfaces wiped even for crumbs. We had a fridge in our rooms, both stank, had clearly been neglected by the cleaners between stays and one even had half-eaten food remaining from the previous occupiers. In one of our bathrooms, the ceiling had blue mould. In the second, the bathmat had started to turn yellow, presumably because it isn’t cleaned between stays. This was backed up by the loud squelch when you stand on it. The furnishings are fraying, broken or stained to the point you wouldn’t want to utilise them. To be fair I liked the heated floor tiles, but I wouldn’t dare place my bare feet on them. After seeing the cleanliness (or lack thereof) in the room, I decided against breakfast. From word of mouth, it was apparently difficult to find a clean glass for your morning orange juice. I feel glad I went to a cafe instead. When we were excited to leave, we found out that ‘there were no transfers’ that day. If I had to choose one thing I liked, it was that the TV worked. That’s it. Foi uma estadia rápida e perfeita. O hostel oferece de tudo. Tem aquecedor, cozinha compartilhada, passeios, entre outros. Na hora de ir embora eles nos ajudaram chamando por um taxi.

Ótima opção em El Calafate
Localização boa, boa cama e bom banho. Café da manhã básico incluido, com a poossibilidade de pagar por itens adicionais. Fiquei num quarto com banheiro privado. Nunca tinha me hospedado em hostel e gostei da experiência.

Boa localização, porém o conforto é ruim. Fiquei em quarto individual e estava muito quente à noite, não havia ar condicionado. Quarto muito quente.

Este hospedaje estuvo muy bueno, es accesible a la calle principal de El Calafate, en nuenaa condiciones y excelente precio. EN relación precio/calidad estuvo genial. Ademas tienen agua caliente y buena presion de agua. Me quedaria nuevamente, y me gustó que ves jovenes viajeros y familias de mas edad en este mismo lugar.

Hostel muy comodo, cerca del centro y de la Laguna Nimez. Hay muchos restaurantes y supermercado cerca. Los tours te recogen en recepcion. Tienen agua caliente y calefaccion en los dias de frio.
