« This house was clean and well located, a few minutes walk from the beach. We really enjoyed the patio.The parking was hard to find in this area and we would like more equipment in the kitchen like a regular coffee machine instead of a Keurig. »

« Recently my wife and I had a wonderful stay in La Jolla. The location of this property was within a short walk to the beach and restaurants. If you stay here, you'll be extremely happy you have parking for 2 vehicles because the weekend beachgoer traffic is crazy. The house was darling. The photos don't do it justice. « The listing was accurate enough though I'm glad it was just my dad and brother, who were able to shrug off things that many people might find off-putting in terms of cleanliness and amenities. It's definitely more value for the location than the place itself, but it did the job. - no A/C meant the first several hours were quite hot, trying to air things out. - Broken shower faucet - several things in disrepair Proximity to the beach and OB area definitely the major plusses! »

« We had a very enjoyable stay at this cottage. Nothing fancy, but it was clean, great location, and I wish I was still sitting on the front patio listening to the ocean! Layout is a bit unusual, I think it would be a bit awkward for more than a few people, due to having the single bathroom between the two bedrooms. Only suggestion I would make is to label the keys, as each gate had a different key and I spent a few minutes every time trying to locl/unlock things. »

« Very clean and cozy place, everything was as expected and we absolutely loved staying here. But what we loved the most was the sky light, we live in the city of san diego and specifically drove to Julian to view the dark skies close to the new moon, so the skylight over the bed was a nice surprise to be able to view the stars all night. « The only real negative was the fact that the mattress is TERRIBLE. It needs to be replaced. Other than that, we loved it. Other people complained about the parking but honestly, there's free overnight parking on El Carmel Pl and Santa Clara Pl which are only 2 short blocks in either direction along the bay. We could see our truck from the balcony. Unloading in the ally behind the unit was no problem and we had brought a wagon so that made it even easier. The ocean is only 2 blocks across Mission...
