"A gorgeous hotel, super close to Waverley station and to all the sights! The staff were great and super friendly, we were kindly upgraded to a city view room, and the check in service was smooth. We were a little early to check in however, we were advised that it would only be about a 30min wait so we could wait in the bar area and have a complimentary drink which was a nice touch. The whole hotel was great, and I would definitely stay again :)"

"Would have liked more yoghurt, seeds, etc for breakfast. Staff at hotel reception were excellent. Room was comfortable and quiet. Excellent situation for transport: taxi rank opposite hotel, buses. Only problem were the lifts: two off completely for one night and only one working on others."

"The room was very clean, bathroom lovely and looked recently fitted. Gym was great, techno gym equipment, recently updated and opened at 0630 hrs; it was much better than the usual hotel gyms, people from the community were members too. Great breakfast, helpful reception and concierge staff, felt safe. Another bonus, the hotel room window opened!! "

"Staff was extremely helpful, and we loved our view! Having a room with a terrace meant we had a smaller room which proved to be pretty tiny. Some nice amenities and good breakfast. Incredible location, so close to everything we wanted to do."

"Convenient for visiting the city. Clean, shower water can be boiling hot and you need it after a day in the cold wind of Edinburgh. rooms are small but you have everything you need . "

"Nothing exciting. Rooms are standard, basic amenities, clean, filter water which we have to go to different floor to fill. Hotel location is good"

"The bedding had stains, dump smell in the bathroom however we left window opened and,was okay. Comfortable, clean otherwise. Comfy mattress. Great location, small Tesco nearby. Requested little extra time for the departure was asked for 40 pounds until max 2 hours. Would stay again."
