Margaree-a-ville Cottage

Margaree-a-ville Cottage

10/10 Excellent
"Gus & Gert are amazing hosts!! They were quick to communicate with us during the whole process. They greeted us upon check-in and gave us a short tour of the property! We really enjoyed the "Welcome Basket" that included fruit, wine, and a variety of homemade treats! Their property is so beautiful and a great base from which to explore the Cape Breton Highlands. The House was immaculate, and the kitchen had all the appliances and utensils needed to cook our meals. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and plan to return soon! Kurt & Patti Ley"

10/10 Excellent
"We enjoyed our time at this wonderful property. Chris provided excellent communication throughout our stay, including detailed instructions on getting to the property, references to local restaurants and grocery stores, and guidance on departure instructions. During our stay the area lost electricity due to a storm and Chris responded immediately with a backup generator, which he kept running until electricity was restored. The cabin (number 1) was clean and well provisioned, comfortable, and a great base camp for exploring the Cape Breton area. We were pleased with the quiet solitude the cabin provided, while having access to WiFi and streaming services. The enclosed porch, which includes a small gas grill and a hammock, was a bonus! Great facilities, wonderful communication and support, all in a lovely nature setting. Many thanks to Chris and Kerry for a wonderful home during our tour of Cape Breton!"
