Diefenbaker Place Tours and Activities

The young kids that worked there were like sloths. Sorry to interrupt your phone time to bother you to get some towels for the pool. Then they say the laundry staff forgot to turn the dryer on so there is going to be delay in getting towels. Really if you work in laundry wouldn’t that be a big responsibility to turn the dryer on?? Then when they did bring some towels up, there was like 7 and 20 people in the pool….really. It was very busy that weekend of the 16 of Oct , be prepared, no excuses. You are a hotel servicing a large number of people, do better. The cleaning staff was exceptional in the morning, they were happy, kind, polite, they need to be recognized by management. The front desk staff were good, helpful and knowledgeable. Our room was in rough shape, the cabinets were chipped up, the bed frame was all peeling, big holes in the wall where a picture was I assume . One plus the bed was comfortable. Definitely not worth the price we paid that’s for sure. Spray pool down, down a waterslide for over a month, elevator not working?? Come on , sad hotel, would not return or recommend.

Very quiet hotel with comfortable rooms and well equipped. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the evening social hour was an unexpected surprise
