Ocean Riviera Paradise All Inclusive

"the room was clean as well as the pools and property, they did a really good job of keeping the beach clean during seaweed season. met some really amazing and friendly staff. although all of the activities like arcade and bowling cost extra money which was strange and the food at the restaurants was really good especially the Italian place and blue moon . sakura was very mediocre and the steakhouse was good but the steak was kinda chewy the beef tenderloin at blue moon was better. the buffet was really good but on our last night they did asian cousin and that was not good and are whole group had an upset stomach the whole day. but all other days were amazing for breakfast and lunch. overall we had a really amazing experience just some nights the food we had wasn’t amazing but that’s ok. definitely would come to this resort again. also highly recommend taking the free tour to the jewelry shop, tequila tasting and into the city it was so fun! overall there are so many good things to say about this resort just and fit it all into one review"

"The hotel is in walking distance of the ferry and shopping. They have several on site restaurants. The quiet pool is nice to get away for noise of the party pool. Suck they will charge $10 for room service now. Also the timeshare being pushed on gets is kind of crappy."

"The resort was beautiful. The security around the resort was great. The buffets were good for breakfast and lunch but at dinner all they served was different forms of egg plant. Nonetheless I would return, it’s a great way to visit the Xcaret parks without having to pay to stay at Xcaret."

"Staff were wonderful and everyone is very friendly. My biggest issue is their lack of care when asking about food allergies. They ask when seating you but have no care whatsoever when taking your order or explaining food options at the buffet. Treat it seriously if you are going to ask. Another big negative is bottled water in the room. With faucet water being non-drinkable, we asked multiple times for the bottled water to be placed in the room by housekeeping, but it was never done. When we called down to the front desk and it being promised to be brought up right away, it took over 90 minutes every time. Needless to say I will not be going back or recommending Xcaret."

Atelier Playa Mujeres - Adults Only - All Inclusive

"Atelier was an excellent property for couples and small groups to relax and enjoy a more modern resort. The staff was fantastic and attended to our needs at every turn. The pool experience was very nice although I would recommend a more diverse selection of popular music. The drinks were top notch and creative and the poolside service was consistent even as more guests arrived later in our stay. The restaurants were also a plus with the Italian and Asian cuisine being our favorite. The beach was well maintained despite this time of year being a terrible time for sargaso. Staff raked the beach daily and trucks cleared most of the remaining seaweed. This not the clearest or most beautiful beach we have seen but I imagine that Nov through March is perfect. The rooms were spacious with nice showers and separate toilet. The bed was comfortable and there was turn down service each evening where staff would neatly arrange our room and provide fresh towels, robes and slippers. Please note this is not the most lively resort as far as entertainment although the disco provides that option each night. The pool has standard games, contests, and water aerobics through the day but does not feel like a day party! Overall, we highly recommend and will likely be back."

"A standout feature of this hotel was the excellent beach maintenance. The staff did a fantastic job of regularly clearing away seaweed, so there was never a large buildup on the shore. This made the beach much more enjoyable and showed the hotel’s commitment to providing a great guest experience."
