"Casa Mar was absolutely beautiful. My wife and I celebrated our 20 year anniversary with a week away and we would definitely do it again. An added perk we didn’t even realize until arriving was that this house is associated with the Awa hotel brand and you get all the perks of the hotel that is within a 5 minute walk. We loved everything about the experience. Manuel and Maria took great care of us as well!"

"Awesome location, directly across the street from the beach. No AC in main part of house. AC ran great in all bedrooms. Hot tub was not operational, and there was not toilet seat on one of the toilets. Manager said owner was shipping one from US, but never arrived. No daily housekeeping, refrigerator did not get or stay cold. And taxis we arranged for pick up to leave, never arrived. We were allotted one towel per person, and had to ask to get them changed out. For girls that use towels...

"Our room was moldy and the roof started leaking and flooding our room. They moved us to a new room that wasn’t moldy and smelt fine very fast and were nice. Seems like luck of the draw for rooms but if they are fully booked you may not be able to move rooms right away. Everything else was great. Food could use a little more love but still edible"

"Didn’t get early check in. Paid upgrade for beach walkout at very end of building construction going on indoors and outside building new gazebo - buffet food horrible - everything had after taste to it. There is NO BEACH and NO WHITE SAND - rocks everywhere and dirty brown water couldn’t even swim in so called beach - pictures on this website totally different. People used free beach access next to us and stayed up all night long on beach. Didn’t sleep due to kids running around and yelling. Restaurants a block away - not in Wyndham itself. Staff at front dest very unfriendly - spoke to manager and wasn’t offered any compensation (paid $4,000 for thurs thru Sunday trip) instead she sent to room 6 strawberry dipped in chocolates - for the price and food and service I rate this place a 1\. Very disappointed customer. Do not stay here "

"Average all inclusive hotel. Many of the rooms and sections of the resort were under construction. The seaweed on the shore of the beach was so bad you couldn't get in the ocean. Activities were often not at the time scheduled. The water from the shower leaked through to the toilet area and out into the vanity area. The buffet food was decent. Maids came in the room when do not disturb light was on. The Internet was horrible. The website was not easy access to schedule dinners and look up activities. All in all it was a good stay but there is definitely room for improvement. "
