« Overall the property was very good and met our needs. The facilities were fine except one downstairs shower room had no ventilation and smelt mouldy after use. The garden and shed needed some attention. We had a very happy time. »

« This property is not 'posh' but it is absolutely perfect for a large family or group gathering. There is masses of space for cooking, eating and socialising and sitting outdoors. The setting of the cottage is second to none - surrounded by the fabulous New Forest and the giant redwoods of the Rhinefield Ornamental Drive. There are lots of walking and cycling trails immediately accessible from the property. We took our youngsters out on a dusk walk on the first night we arrived and they saw deer,...

« We had a super time at this lovely house, we were a family of 15 - 9 adults and 6 children and 2 dogs. There was enough space for everyone, it was great all being able to sit at the table together. The house was clean and worked well with everything you needed. The location is excellent, a half hour to the beach which we did both days we were there, you are in the forest although we did not have time for forest walks. Lots of pubs around for food, »

Best Western Chilworth Manor Hotel

6/10 Acceptable

"Réservation faite pour la piscine mais ce n'était pas accessible pour les enfants que l'après-midi. Pas mentionné avant d'arriver ! Petit déjeuner plus tard le samedi. Notre fille a eu un lit plus petit pour partager avec son fils de 6 ans que notre autre fille a eu pour dormir seule. En plus le matelas n'était pas terrible. Seul nous aurions apprécié notre séjour plus. Personnel sympathique. Dommage qu'il y avait un longue queue de voitures quand nous sommes arrivés donc 30 minutes l'attente pour accéder l'hôtel "

"a) La personne de l'accueil n'a même pas pris 5 mns pour m'expliquer ou était la chambre qui était un peu perdue (on aurait dit un supermarché) b) accés aux spas et autres est finalement payant en soirée et cela n'était pas précisé au moment de la réservation : le problème n'est pas que le prix c'est que ça n'est pas fuide (il faut réserver puis payer etc..) c) au niveau du restaurant c'était la catastrophe, il y vaiat 2 personne pour servir 60 ou 70 clients : elles faisaient ce qu'elles pouvaient mais leur management aurait du prévoir Sinon l'hotel est trés bien situé et dans une zone agéable."
