After we arrived and the host met us, I received a text message asking if we needed to use the sofabed and if so, we needed to leave £15 on the side before we left (I mean, I love my brother but I don't want to share a bed with him). We confirmed we needed the sofabed and the host came over and gave us bedding. It was irritating because we don't normally use cash, so had to find a cash point, then sort out change from £20 note when we were on our way to celebrate our folks' anniversary. Next morning we received another message to tell us checkout was by 10am. On Hotels.com the checkout time was 10:30\. I mentioned this in my reply and said we'd be leaving by 10:30am (we were waiting for our folks to give us a lift to the station).
