« Great place to stay as well as a convenient location to shops and restaurants. »

« Remote staff consistent with many nice hotels in small towns. Clean and comfortable. Spartan, but all expected accoutrements provided (blow dryer). No outside windows but that helps with sleeping late and is expected when an old mercantile is converted to hostelry. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. »

« Very clean. Small but had everything I needed. I liked the bathroom. The parking situation leaves a little to be desired, but nothing crazy. I enjoyed it and will definitely stay again. »

« The cabin is a perfect rustic getaway. We were well taken care of with the thoroughness of the owners supplying everything we needed. Its location to the Colorado Bend State Park was very convenient. Since the location has reduced light pollution, the sky at night was beautiful with stars. Jamie’s quick correspondences were greatly appreciated. »

« The cabin itself was clean and comfortable, and it had most of what we needed for our stay. It’s a functional place rather than a luxury retreat, but it served its purpose well.One thing that would have been helpful to know ahead of time is that the cabins are located very close to the road, and there isn’t much usable outdoor property unless you walk down the stairs. « Quiet relaxing accommodations »

« This ENTIRE property is gorgeous. The management company responded any time we had questions. A tech was sent out to help with resetting the cooling and heating system. The kids were thrilled about staying in a tent. It truly was comfortable camping. The solo stove was perfect for most of our meals and the community kitchen and game area by the river were used plenty as well. Everything we needed was supplied. Great stay. Highly recommended. »

« The home was clean and orderly. The TV and Gate remotes didn’t work, so I downloaded a tv remote and was able to get by. Would have been nice had those devices been tested so they would have worked. The only shower, the shower head need to be cleaned so water comes, not easy to take a shower. Overall, a nice place in the country. »

« This place was a perfect place for us and our 4 young children, ages 12-4. They played soccer in the yard and watched the sheep while we were there, and it was close to Colorado Bend State Park. It was fun to go to the park during the day then come relax in the evening and watch/listen to the sheep, make some dinner, and watch the beautiful sunset in the evening. We all slept great, too, thanks to the solitude/darkness/silence of the area and the beds being comfy enough! The stars were amazing. »
