Our room also had a fridge, microwave and coffee. Loved that we had Sleeping Mtn for our view-our dogs loved looking out the window. Great stay for our doggies too. I would go back. « This place was awesome! It was a bit hard to find, and there was no cell signal to help try to find out how to get there, but other than that it was a wonderful getaway! Quiet and serene, beautiful landscape, and the suite itself was superb! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. »

« This pet friendly property offered us a base camp with easy access to Davis Mountains State Park, chihuahuan desert research institute, Alpine, and Marfa. The property was well kept and the beds were comfortable. I haven’t seen a night sky that big since the Omani desert. Plenty of deer and javelinas around dusk every day. »

« The views in this place are incredible, mountains for miles! You can see the sun rise and set from the same comfortable seat. The house is fresh, clean and nicely appointed with a well-stocked kitchen. The host was gracious and kept us informed at all times. And the location is perfect, a relatively short walk to shops and restaurants downtown, and an easy drive to McDonald Observatory. We have stayed many places in Fort Davis over the years and this place is our clear favorite. »
