Beds were comfy with plenty of bedding available. We loved having breakfast on the little patio out back and sitting on the front porch looking at the mountains. We arrived after a very busy weekend and a hard flip for the caretaker, so there was a small issue we requested help with. The owner was extremely responsive and the caretaker arrived within 15 minutes to fix the problem. Bring your own laundry detergent; sturdy machines were great to wash our hiking clothes. Grocery stores are walkable / drivable within 3 minutes. Buffalo Bentley's burger spot (the big green bus!) was probably our favorite meal in Fort Davis. We love the town and this was the perfect family headquarters to see it all over a long weekend!"
