"The rooms were clean and the staff were helpful . If you are staying on the second floor there are about 15-18 steps to navigate up as there is no elevator. Currently there is no in house restaurant. There are a few off the main street."

"Booked the Fischer suite, which was lovely and had a private side entrance. Probably overbooked - the suite had two bedrooms and two separate family areas and it was just my wife and me. Well maintained grounds even in October, and a lovely breakfast with other guests."

He quickly responded to queries., The kitchen had up to date appliances and plenty of pots and pans and baking equipment.Besides a wonderful place to relax the view of the mountains is great. It is also easy to get to the McDonald observatory, Fort Davis, the Chihuahuan Desert Institute,"

"The cottage was really cute and clean. Plenty of towels. My daughter kept in touch with the staff for me. It did have a fireplace which was not needed for our stay but fall hit soon after we left. There was not a kitchen but did have a mini fridge and microwave. We spent time at Fort Davis National Historic Site, Balmorhea State Park, actually saw the Marfa lights, and the McDonald Observatory. Definitely recommend!"
