"Very clean, nice interior, outside updated. Quiet area, only thing difficult was finding a place to eat. This is off season so there were no options open to us but grocery store and tv dinners. Yelp would list open but restaurants were not. The Inn is a great value.. oh, and the shower with HOT water was wonderful after a full day at Big Bend. "

"The room was very private and quiet. The bed was so comfortable that I slept through the night despite my tendency toward insomnia. We were at DMI on Christmas day and the lovely owners invited us to Christmas dinner! They are the most gracious hosts."

"Perfectly, conveniently located, private-feeling house for our family of 3. Well-stocked kitchen was great for making a meal or two a day, which is a good call with the somewhat limited dining options in town on Sundays / Mondays. Beds were comfy with plenty of bedding available. We loved having breakfast on the little patio out back and sitting on the front porch looking at the mountains. We arrived after a very busy weekend and a hard flip for the caretaker, so there was a small issue we requested help with. The owner was extremely responsive and the caretaker arrived within 15 minutes to fix the problem. Bring your own laundry detergent; sturdy machines were great to wash our hiking clothes. Grocery stores are walkable / drivable within 3 minutes. Buffalo Bentley's burger spot (the big green bus!) was probably our favorite meal in Fort Davis. We love the town and this was the perfect family headquarters to see it all over a long weekend!"
