It is directly across from the Chihuanhuan Desert Nature Center. We stayed in Bunkhouse 1 that worked well for 2 adults and our 11 year old grandson. The first night there we enjoyed sitting by the pool and the hot tub. We chose this location aa our home base to spend time both in the Fort Davis area and the Big Bend area. Bunkhouse accommodations are similar to a hotel setting. No kitchen but small frig, microwave, espresso machine. It also has a fireplace. It is a very peaceful setting that is still being developed. We enjoyed a short hike on the property but according to site info they plan to develop more trails. There are also trails at the Chihuanhuan Natural Center and at the Fort Davis State Park. The accommodations were very comfortable and provided everything we needed for our 5 nights. We bought snacks and lite breakfast food in town. The line of toiletries is top of the line. I wish I could have purchased it.
