Motel 6 Bristol, VA

Motel 6 Bristol, VA

8/10 Good
"Only stayed for a night but it was clean, well kept, and modern. It had a corner shower (I love it) and the AC unit wasn't normal and I was stupid and took about 2 hours to realize there's a thermostat for your room. Really nice to not have cold air blowing directly on you all night. There was a gentleman below us who sounded like he was coughing up a lung but it was only in the morning. Overall nice place, a few minutes off the interstate and a good first experience at motel 6."

"Everyting was good except the noise in the bathroom. It was constant. Probably AC. When I closed the door it was kind of ok."

Wheelers Inn

Wheelers Inn

10/10 Excellent
"Wheeler's Inn was a great place to stay! It's perfect for hikers, having free water, snacks, coffee or tea, a cozy sitting area and a front porch with rockers. Guests have their own bedroom and a shared bathroom. Great beds and plenty of towels and toiletries available. I'll definitely be staying here again when I'm section hiking in the area."

The Cabins at Healing Springs

The Cabins at Healing Springs

10/10 Excellent
"We had a stellar nite at the Cabins. The mattress and bedding both were premium and extremely comfortable. We felt very cozy. We even filled up some bottles of the delicious healing water to bring home. Quiet and remote setting. Don’t hesitate to book. We will return."

Millsap-baker Estate

Millsap-baker Estate

8/10 Good
"Millsap-Baker house is a great old house. Never judge a book by its cover - the exterior is showing signs of its age and needs some repairs, cleaning and refurbishing. The interior on the other hand, is tastefully and formally decorated with antiques, with plenty of interesting things to look at. Bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen are fully up to today's standards; very clean, with comfortable beds and reliably hot water in the shower. A true bed and breakfast - the host made breakfast for us and provided interesting conversation. I would have appreciated an option for earlier seating times for those of us who like to get out and about early. As advertised there was ample free wine and non-alcoholic beverages, but the free pastries and fruit were past their prime."
