The place was clean and smelt pleasant, and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The outside area was enough space to have a small fire and roast marshmallows. Everything was clean and we really appreciated the shower and washer/dryer after two days of hiking. The kitchen amenities were everything we needed. The outside area was private and comfortable. We saw deer, turkeys, an indigo bunting, and lots of other birds! The cabin was also within a decent driving distance of the town, parks, and mountains. However, the mattress was very hard and the 3 pillows were very flat. The HVAC also stopped working mid-stay (in early July). The owner's response was to tell us to "just open the windows". After we specifically requested a fan, they brought us a small desk fan (which did nothing to touch the heat/humidity). Very clean place and a nice little backyard. perfect for two people! The only thing is that there is not very good cell reception ( as expected out in the mountains) However there is not Wi-Fi as was listed in the description.
