The hotel itself is beautiful and the restaurants are excellent if you love creative dishes. However, we were extremely disappointed with one of our rooms (2 medium rum rooms) as I had booked these rooms at least 8 months ahead of our trip. I had requested them to be on the same floor which didn’t happen. Our friend’s room was not the same size! Half the size as ours and the fridge broke down in our room. The staff tried to remedy with other solutions but no discount was offered for our rooms which I feel is not an appropriate action when you’re in the hospitality industry. We spent a lot of money at SALT so it’s not satisfactory to pay more attention to room details.

The location was perfect to walk around Budapest. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The amenities were better than we had on our cruise! The rooftop bar was such fun! We didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend!
