It is on the quiet side but with a car you can go anywhere from here.There are also good restaurants in the area and as Dawn beach can be a bit rough, you can drive to any of the beautiful beaches on the island. Great Bay, Mullet, Friar's, Happy and Anse Marcel are our favourites. Enjoy! (1,002 reviews) The hotel itself is nice, the rooms was clean with amazing views. The resort was under construction. The on the grounds staff is very friendly and nice. The beach is great with umbrellas amd chairs for the guests. HOWEVER! The rest was very corporate and scammy. Upon arrival we got hussled over to the concierge desk for a parking pass and were held hostage as we were pressured into timeshare attendance and trips (super over priced The restaurants are VERY bad, at the grade of a microwave TV dinner but with high end prices (everything seems like its reheated/defrosted right before serving).
