"Its all underdstandable..I didnt like the fact my parking space was not designated....it's an older icon that needs more electrical outlets...it got the job done though..beautiful spot on the beach"

"It’s a decent room especially for the price. However, there’s cracks all in the bathroom and we had a few issues but they were resolved pretty quickly. The staff was lovely and responded quickly to fix our issues! We had a beach view from the window. That was very lovely. It’s a great place to stay especially if you just need somewhere to lay your head. Just wish that the bar at the pool connected to the front was open more."

Palmetto Beachfront Hotel, a By the Sea Resort

"We enjoyed this place. The pool and hot tub is open 24/7. They did a 7pm-7am maintenance of the pool during our stay but let us swim until almost 7:30pm. The staff were always nice. The only issue we had was that our balcony light was out and some of the lights around the pool was out. Also, only one elevator was working but they had to order the part to fix the other. Sometimes that cannot be helped! We will definitely be staying here again. The views were beautiful! The arcade is non existent though. Also, we checked out the fitness room and although it was limited with equipment due to size, I do believe it had all we would have needed!"

"This place was everything that a quick get away could be I would stay there over and over again. It was a wonderful location and the perfect views of the gorgeous beach was breathtaking. But let me just rave a little bit more from the time of check-in the front desk ladies were amazing giving you great information to make sure you enjoyed your stay. But it gets better yall in my Louisiana voice 😆. Now see AJ the BEST Concierge in Pensacola Fla. BABY when I tell you this man took so extraordinary care of us. He made sure we got to all the places we wanted to go and he didn't just drop us off he made sure that we were going to be OK and checked in before he left us. And if we were done before he got off he would come back and get us. I was so grateful to have someone who didn't really treat us like tourist if we asked a question about a excursion or a restaurant he gave us his honest opinion and I always appreciate honesty. This won't be out first or last time staying there I promise. Thanks for making my weekend getaway so AMAZING 👏"

Moody Gardens Hotel, Spa and Convention Center

"Easy to find and get booked in with valet or by yourself. Staff were very gracious and helpful. The guy at the desk said he was new but I would not have known as his training was superb, I had no problems checking in and he was extremely informative. Room was clean. Only downside was the microwave was in the ice room to be shared by others, which isn’t a big problem, I can understand the cost effectiveness of that. Just hard to microwave things for kids when you have to walk down the hall each time. Still a 10/10 and would/will stay here again with the family. Pool and pool bar was awesome! They stay open super late and luckily there was a firework show going on across the street on our last night we could watch from the pool. Thank you Moody Gardens for a unforgettable weekend."

The Island Resort at Fort Walton Beach

"The beach view was amazing. All the staff was friendly. We listened to a local duo (the velveteens) one night at the beach bar and they were amazing. When we visit the island resort next time I hope they are on the schedule. Price wise, the food and drinks are up there. We had our breakfasts included with our room and we won't do that again. $55 without a tip for 2 people on the buffet is high. Especially when the variety of food isnt there and the taste is just okay, nothing to brag about.. The bar in the main building hasn't had draft beer in at least 3 months. The Compressor is down and parts have been ordered, but no one knows how much longer it will be. The a/c units in our suite worked, but they are somewhat noisy. We froze when they would run and roast when they wouldn't. I'm guessing that's typical for the Florida heat in August. Overall, our 2nd trip to the island resort in 2 years was good. We will eventually stay there again, but not sure when."
