Central Vermont Vacation Packages

The hotel room was ok and the grounds are beautiful. At this price you would think that breakfast would be included but it is not. The food at the lazy goat was good but the service was terrible. Had to ask twice for milk for our coffee while the coffee was getting cold till the milk made it to our table. The food and the service at the Junction were amazing, no complaints there. Somehow the housekeeping threw away or misplaced some of our belongings from within our room, a tote bag with boot inserts to keep tall boots upright went missing from our room, and while we can understand that things happen, the response we got from the front desk was unacceptable. When we brought the issue to them all we were offered was laundry bags for us to use to put our belongings in. At almost $600 a night that is just not right. Will not be visiting again.

The inn has the best location, if staying in Stowe. The staff was helpful and always available at the front desk. The parking seemed insufficient for the inn, its properties, and visitors, so be prepared to walk. I couldn't seem to regulate the temperature in my room and all nights were too warm; 100% cotton sheets would have helped and the pillows could have been softer. Also, if you like a quiet inn, don't book when there's a wedding planned at the inn. The reception/dance music kept me awake with no apologies from the inn staff.

We had a comfortable and amazing stay. The innkeeper was extremely knowledgeable and made wonderful suggestions to make our stay exactly what we wanted . Breakfast was delicious and varied each day and included fresh local ingredients. The grounds were stunning and well cared for. And we were lucky to see the bittern one morning !! We highly recommend a stay at this beautiful B and B !
