We had a rental car but could have used local cabs—West End and West Bay are close and affordable, and Libby was a great driver. The location is ideal for exploring gardens, nature parks, and avoiding cruise ship crowds. The beach has soft sand, reclining chairs, free paddle boards and kayaks and the reef is an easy swim (or use kayak/paddleboard to get to the reef and tie off on a buoy) for snorkeling. The pool was always clean and cool. Thanks to Jojo, Johnny, Cesar, Jessie, Jericho, Selema, Carlos, Becca, Kim, and Josh for making us feel welcome. Note: The public beach has some auto traffic, and a few yards into the ocean, the sand turns to silt and sea grass due to conservation rules."
