The staff were wonderful and the clear blue waters were breathtaking. This is a perfect relaxation location. The huts over the ocean were amazing and the masseuse in the beach tents were charming and excellent.

This place is amazing just don’t forget to bring the resort phone number with you. My wife contacted the resort 3 days in advance to let them know we would be there on a Sunday and upon arrival nobody was there to pick us up. Had to pay out of pocket for a taxi. Very beautiful beach and the people are super friendly. The food is good but not fantastic. You have the cruise people come in for a few hours daily then the resort is almost empty. Beautiful scenery and the fish like to make appearances they can get very close. One of my best experiences was feeding 2 black iguanas who I gave grapes to every day I was there. Great experience but could of had less greasy food

We had a great week at Turquoise Bay! The grounds are beautiful, great beach, delicious food, and friendly staff! They have their own farm and the food is all freshly prepared with lots of variety. It is a very quiet and a very relaxing resort. We went diving with their dive ship and it was very easy to schedule each day and their prices for dives was very reasonable. I’m sure we will return in the future!

An Absolute Paradise – 100% Recommended! My wife and I recently stayed at the Turquoise Resort in Roatan, and it was everything we could have hoped for. The resort is incredibly quiet, private, peaceful, and absolutely lovely. The food was hands-down the best we’ve had, but what truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. Special props to **Karen Isabela**—she is highly professional, clearly knows her job, and is exceptionally well-informed and well-trained. We also want to extend a huge, special thank you to the Restaurant Manager, **Vanessa Avila**. We had a small hiccup during check-in, but Vanessa completely went above and beyond for us. She made sure we felt incredibly welcomed and fixed everything immediately, doing the absolute best for us. We absolutely love this location. It is well worth every penny, and we recommend it 100%! We can't wait to come back.

The shuttle service was great the hotel rooms are nice but I will say this I stayed in the upper section of the resort room 16 and it’s a hike up the stairs to the room but view was fantastic the real part that bothered me is the toliet it wouldn’t take paper so how do ya wipe ya butt :) other then that resort is great very low key relaxed and staff are allways nice and attentive

Turquoise bay was the most relaxed resort I have ever been to the staff are what make it shine but the one part I have to say is the beach is basically yours until the cruise ships come then it’s crazy but they come in a. Few times during week and the whole bottom beach bars food everything at beach is shut down when there are no boats !! All inclusive it is but at specific times for food drinks are allways available I would definitely come again food was ok and the hidden jewell about this place is the farm they have behind it !!!!! All there food is grown there eggs and so many cool animals roaming everywhere!!!!

The sea view was wonderful. Beach clean and water very clear. Room was very clean with shower and bathroom. There was no fridge in the room the room sometimes gets hot, the AC unit does not cool very well. food was drinks were delicious and tasty. I just wish they had more seafood on the menu

If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful get away... this is the place. The resort is small with only about 25 rooms. It's a bit dated but rooms were spacious, clean and the AC worked wonderfully well. The best part about the resort is the beach. It's absolutely gorgeous. Cruise ships drop people off at the beach from about 8:30am -2:30pm and the place goes into beach party mode with live music and beach bars. After the cruise crowd leaves, you have the entire place to yourself... literally! Staff was helpful and kind. They do sort of have an island mentality- work very slow and don't go out of their way. If you do ask for help or need something they attend to it but for as many people staffed at the resort, I would think the service would have been a little better. Regarding the food. The restaurant is a very small, buffet style but surprisingly the food changes daily with different style cuisines and was surprisingly very good with a nice variety each day. Bar services was good. They told me the coffee machine was down, but I think it was because no one wanted to go through the process of making it in the morning. It is about a 40 min drive from the West end so you need to hire a driver. Private 1/2 day island tour was $120. The only bad thing about the whole trip was the noseeums (sand fleas). If you are not prepared on the beach, they will get you good, especially in the late afternoon/ evening. I recommend moving up to the pool or out to the overwater cabanas.

Despite the terrible weather in Roatan for our trip, Turquoise Bay was an excellent resort. We were contacted in advance of our arrival by the hotel asking if we need a shuttle in, and upon arriving we were greeted by lovely guest reception. All the restaurant staff were amazing and very friendly. I wish we had everyone's names to mention. A few that I can remember, Luis was always attentive and checking if we needed drinks, Edid (I think that's how to spell her name) was so friendly serving food at the buffet. There was another young guy who was often cooking eggs in the morning or pad Thai on Asian night who had a contagious smile. He went out of his way to be friendly. Most of the female wait staff were friendly and dancing to the music and even sang on karaoke night which was a lot of fun to see! And the gentleman with braces who worked the main bar in the games room beside the pool was always looking to help. And Peggy at the front desk was also wonderful. I'm definitely missing some, bit suffice it to say that the staff were excellent and attentive. Thanks for great service!

We are here now and cannot recommend this hotel enough. They coordinated an airport shuttle so getting here was very easy. The beach is beautiful. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. Special shoutout to Gina who has been so sweet to my kids. If safety is a concern, don’t think twice about booking here. It’s very safe. The entire island is but the hotel is secluded which adds the extra layer for safety. I’m traveling solo with two kids ages 7 and 9. The hotel is mainly diving clientele so there aren’t a ton of kids here but the cruise ships dock several times per week which brings tourists to the hotel with excursions. We find this to be really fun as the resort becomes lively for a few hours each day. The rest of the day it is very relaxed and quiet. If you like to party, this isn’t the resort for you. This is a very low key, quiet, and secluded resort. I can’t stress that enough! The hotel is all inclusive but there isn’t food available all day. There are set meal times and a snack time each evening before dinner. I’ve found the food to be fantastic. My kids have had a tough time but that’s not on the hotel. They have had cereals and things my kids can pick at during meals so they wont starve. I’d just keep this in mind if you have picky eaters like I do. They will also make food for your kids like chicken fingers and wings/fries if there really isn’t anything your kiddos can tolerate. We loved this stay and I hate that I’m limited to 1500 characters!

If you are coming here to dive then you are at the right place. If you are coming here to just relax and spend time at the beach then this is probably not the right place for you. I have been to multiple all-inclusive resorts and by far this was the worst I have ever been to. The staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant. However I felt that this resort was divided between diving parties, cruise shore excursion parties and people who just came to relax. The food was a joke, the worst food I have ever experienced at an all exclusive resort. The funniest part was that this is an Island resort and yet the only seafood we ever got were some anemic shrimps and some frozen calamari. When the cruises came ashore then forget it the staff will not even look at you because they are going after the cruise parties because of the higher tips. Even though they say their food times are 2 to 3 hours, but within 1 hour of food service starting almost all the food is gone!! Then you have to deal with the rude and loud diver parties that come from Canada on all of the US. They are loud arrogant and obnoxious. The dive shop is the rudest staff I encountered on this resort. So my advice to you is if you were coming here just to relax and sit by the beach and enjoy some good Island food this is the WRONG place. So in summary will I ever revisit? Absolutely not!!!!! My worst experience ever!!!!

The property is very nice, but it is 30 minutes from the airport and very far from the tourist area. The bungaloo are amazing. My room didn't have a fridge. There is an incredible number of mosquitoes, and repellent doesn't work. The food isn't very varied, but it is tasty. The drinks are good, and the staff is very friendly.

The resort caters more to cruise guests than the hotel guests. Cruise guests usually leave midday and you have the place to yourself after that. The bungalows are reserved for the cruises until 4pm. And when available they take some cushions out and leave minimum amenities. Staff is friendly. Food is good. Beach is quiet, secluded, calm, and beautiful. Location is 45 minute drive from other attractions. Bring repellent, you will need it. Ask for the botanical tour, it is free and worth it. The staff doesn't really tell you unless you ask for things. If you buy the food package, you can eat at the buffets on the beach, they don't tell you that, but it is a big plus. Service is decent, you just have to keep asking for things.

Traducción al inglés: I loved my stay at this hotel. It is very peaceful and perfect for spending a weekend. The views are spectacular, and the food was 20/10. However, the main issue is that the meal schedules are very limited. They should offer snacks throughout the day so that guests who do not want to wake up early for breakfast still have something to eat during the day. Another suggestion would be to expand the variety of activities available within the hotel and offer more tour options for guests who want to explore the island. Other than that, it is an excellent place to relax, recharge your mind, and get some rest I would definitely come back.
