"We had a really nice overnight stay in a king riverside room— comfortable bed, very clean, updated bathroom, and a lovely view of the river! Special shout-out to Jasmine at the front desk, and Alyssa at the bar, for their kindness and warmth— they made us feel very welcome. This is a truly historic hotel that is worth experiencing. Sure, the rooms are a bit smaller than in modern buildings, but the charm and heritage of the place are undeniable. Our room was also very clean and updated with a comfortable bed. No coffee-making setup inside, but the lobby had a fresh brew (and biscotti) in the AM ready, so it was not an issue."

"The hotel was quite disappointing for the price. The pool temperature was advertised to be in the 80s, but it was actually only in the 70s, making the water feel freezing! When I mentioned this to the front desk staff, they brushed me off. Additionally, the restaurant was understaffed, resulting in slow service. We requested a late checkout, but our request was not honored. Will not be going back."

"this was great for a quick road trip for Spring Break with kids. The property itself was gorgeous and serene, the rooms were clean and staff was nice- internet wasn't working well but we spent most of our time outdoors anyway. Rooms could use a bit of an upgrade and wish there were some amenities like food or a restaurant on the property but there were places not too far away. Overall we had a great time!"

"We ate at the restaurant a couple of times and really enjoyed the food. The hotel was very quiet so it felt like we had the place to ourselves and the views were awesome. "

"A beautiful lodge and nature experience. Food was excellent- great smashburgers and BLT. There is so much to do! Zip lining, sightseeing, nature walks, family fun or a romantic getaway. I went solo and felt truly cared for!"

"Room was small but super clean and well equipped. The rooftop bar has an amazing view but I wish they would serve drinks up there. They make you go to the bar on the ground floor, buy your drink and then take it up yourself. You even have to close your tab every time you get a drink. I think they're missing a lot of business. I would have stayed at the rooftop a lot longer but going up and down the elevator gets old after a while. Aside from that it's a great hotel and I will definitely stay there again. I just might go have a drink elsewhere."
