"This was our first time at Kauai and we absolutely loved the island and the property. Royal Sonesta location is perfect for families with kids. This property is grant and yet easily walkable from hotel to the pool, to the beach, cafe, and restaurants. Rooms at Royal Sonesta are spacious and renovated. The beach is perfect for swimming - weather was perfect the whole time we were there. This resort is a happy medium between Poipu Beach and North Shore. Highly recommend this resort!"
"This property is very enjoyable if you like unique historical cabins. The cabins are very old and remind you of times gone by.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. This side of the island is dry so it's the area to go to if you don't like rain. The wrap around deck, kitchen and the A/C are all nice amenities. The grounds are well kept up as well. We will stay there again if we get to go back to Kauai. Enjoy the Mangos that have fallen from the trees on the property."
"We were upgraded to a partial oceanviewroom from the one webooked. Beautiful condo, 1 bedroom. Very nice. Not much beach, but large lawn area for watching surf. Property could have put a kid AND an adult pool close to thebeach area so one doesnt have to go across street to use the pool"
"I have stayed here several other times. The location is great. The condos are nice. There was a policy change to only one towel per person, which is inconvenient because the place to get a new towel is open 8:30 am - 5 pm at one location in a large property, so you have to plan getting a towel into your schedule. The description was "ocean view" but since it was on the first floor, there wasn't much of an ocean view, so I was disappointed. Otherwise, the condo was in great condition, decorated nicely, and had chairs, snorkles, coolers, and boogie boards."
