"My only criticism is of Expedia for charging me an extra 42.00 because I made the reservation and needed to change it by one day. Because of this I won’t be using Expedia for any bookings from now on , so enjoy the 43 bucks."

"We got the cheapest room. The bed was comfy and the room was tiny. But this is our 4th year using this hotel and plan to continue to use this hotel for many years to come. Overall it's a great place to stay. Only notable issue is a lack of a Handicap ramp anywhere near the front door. There is one on either end of the building. This was an issue for us when pushing the cart out to our car to unload. They need to fix this. "

"Our room and all of hotel and grounds were very clean, the most important thing to me. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good and they had a variety of choices. I would definitely stay there again."

"As with any historic hotel, one should not expect everything to be shiny and perfect. That being said, this hotel is pretty well maintained, and its charm makes up for the cracks in the walls. The location can’t be beat! Our room was quite comfortable with a lovely view overlooking the river. Staff were friendly and helpful. "
