"We had a wonderful stay at John Carver. Parking was always available, close proximity to a convenience store, restaurants, downtown shops. There was a city-wide power outage when we arrived and they were able to keep the wi-fi and amenities working which was fantastic for 3 young boys dying to get in the pool. Staff was friendly and helpful during our stay. There were renovations occurring so not all areas of the hotel were available but still would come back again."

"What a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the beach along Saquish, and what a beautiful place to enjoy everything and relax. Between multiple decks to enjoy the immaculate beach views and sunsets, a modern and comfortable space, and lots of amenities provided on the private beach, you won't want to leave when the time comes. Any questions or concerns we had were answered and cared for promptly, and it was well worth every penny. If you want a beautiful and spacious place right along the beach to take the family and relax and have fun in a beautiful and exclusive spot in Plymouth, look no further than here!"

"Julie and Shawn are awesome hosts. The breakfast of several different fresh fruits, yogurt, granola, honey and juices were a delight to wake up to every morning, along with the hot breakfast. The amenities were an added bonus. The location is perfect, close to many great restaurants but not in the hubbub of it all. My husband and I feel as though we found a hidden gem. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay."

"The rooms were clean and well designed. The shower was really excellent and the bathrooms were also very nice. Kitchen area was good. Our sofa bed was broken so we were upgraded to a bigger room which was nice although it was a hassle to move all of our stuff. Unfortunately the microwave oven didn't work in our new room and our email request for help went unanswered. This was very annoying as we were staying in 1 night to cook and not having a functioning microwave was complicated for us. Many of the lights/lamps/switches did not work. Staff need to work on their communication skills, when we called the property the calls were answered very casually and unprofessionally, just a simple hello without identifying the name of the business - left us wondering if we had dialed a wrong number. Likewise at the end of the calls no real good bye or greeting, just click. While the property was nice I would not consider this rental good value for money as we had 2 major problems in the 2 rooms we stayed in. The rooms were not cheap and were below par for the money we spent given the issues we encountered."
