"As no longer staying here provides access to gym & pool, will probably look to stay elsewhere in future. Real shame, as I’ve stayed here many times over past few years "

"If your bored of hotel rooms, give this comfortable one-bed, self-catering appartment a try. All the ameanities you could want - Netflix, wi-fi, dishwasher, washing machine, and a fully equipped little kitchen. They even leave a lovely little goody basket with milk, orange juice, crisps, breakfast cerial, etc. Local area has lots of food outlets, bars, supermarkets too."

"The Black dog offers affordable accommodation. An excellent restaurant, friendly bar service and comfy beds. Unfortunately the room wasnt cleaned properly with my bathroom bin full from the previous occupier, bottle tops in the corner and a loo that hadnt been clean with a broken seat.
Its these little things that make a good score."
"A lovely stay to visit family, room was very comfortable, clean and spacious, the village area is so nice to walk around and really makes it feel different to anywhere else. The spa is lovely for a morning swim and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Had a delicious breakfast and cannot fault our stay."
"A hidden gem! Stopped here for a night on route to Cardiff for the Oasis reunion tour. Totally exceeded our expectations. It was a lovely friendly place, with nicely renovated features, tasty food and great value (Mon-Thurs 3 courses for £20). The breakfast was exceptional also. "The Nest is a great self-contained, first floor, two-room apartment (kitchen-living and bedroom-bathroom). It has been decorated and fitted out with modern and comfortable fixtures and fittings and is warm, quiet and spotlessly clean.
The welcome tray of a few little treats, tea, coffee and milk in the fridge was a nice touch too.
I'll certainly book again!"

"Fantastic stay with Barry, Barry was very helpful, friendly, accommodating and showed us everything we needed.
The annexe was exceptionally clean, bed was very comfortable, also a great range of breakfast options which we were not expected so a lovely bonus to the stay. The property is not far from the train station and is in a beautiful and peaceful setting. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend. Thank you so much To Barry and his family for being so welcoming, we really enjoyed our stay "
"Interior is very tatty and cheaply done. The plug in the bath didn't work all floors were peeling and lifting even in the bathroom and overall everything looked old and grubby. Very pleased we only stayed for one night"
