"We loved staying here it is very central and we loved being able to walk everywhere. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The bar was convenient we did not use the breakfast so we aren’t too sure of the options but it’s a great location that is very central and walkable to different destinations. If you go here we recommend making a trip to Bold Street Coffee and Maki & Ramen."

"This hotel was the most value I've ever spent for a hotel room. The location is close to perfect. The amenities are perfect. There's a bar, there's food, it's a beautiful old building they have bathtubs. I haven't seen a bathtub in forever in a hotel room and yes, lots of hot water It was an amazing stay if you are reading bad reviews from this hotel. Don't listen. It was the best I've had for a very long time. Every time I come to Manchester. This will be the place I stay 10 out of 10 for value."

"The property was very nice, clean and well appointed. They had a huge group staying there and were understaffed however. Not enough staff in the bar to handle the influx or at the front desk. Wait times were long to check in and to get a drink. Otherwise it’s a great hotel with a great location and was very clean and well appointed."

"Doors to the room and also secondary door to the small hallway are very heavy and incredibly loud when closing. This results in a high level of banging noise throughout the day and night. The breakfast is incredibly poor. Luke warm sausages in a dry bun, or very fatty bacon also in a dry bun. It wouldn’t take much effort to put a normal breakfast buffet on. Location is good, very close the Northern Quarter. The building itself is stunning and a great job has been done to retain character and charm."

Blackburn offers a few different options for an evening out, largely concentrated in the town centre. The main area for nightlife is around Northgate and King William Street. Here, you'll find a selection of traditional pubs, some offering live music on weekends, and a few bars that stay open later with DJs playing popular music. It's a fairly compact area, making it easy to move between venues.Further along, towards the Boulevard, there are a couple of larger venues that host tribute acts and themed club nights. These tend to attract a younger crowd and are generally busiest on Friday and Saturday evenings.
