Brantome-en-Perigord Vacation Packages

The room (Mayura) is spacious and quite comfortable, though not bright like pictured. Kitchen was ok with lots of stuff we didn’t need (eg enough wine glasses for a cocktail party) but not enough items you need (2 cereal bowls only, 3 normal glasses, 3 spoons). They need to replenish stuff. No replenishment of coffee pods (4 for 3 nights x 2 people). A stove burner not operational. Bathroom: light above mirror not functional so dim lighting. Things not provided: -hand soap, shampoo -bottle of wine was part of deal and never arrived Communication: terrible with hotel. They ask you to communicate via phone or WhatsApp. They don’t respond to WhatsApp generally. Phone: maybe, maybe not. But they actioned nothing they promised during our stay (including the deficiencies with our room…wine, soap, broken light, late checkout, or a promise to call back to address these things). They also can’t seem to find history of comms via WhatsApp. There is something terribly wrong with their processes. Cleanliness: coffee machine was quite dirty, hairs in the bedroom (floor and on bed), faint smell throughout unit and quite strong in toilet. But bed and furniture were clean and comfortable. In the end upon checkout, I spoke with someone who heard the complaints and gave us a reasonable credit so they made some effort. But it would have been better to get it right the first time.

We arrived early afternoon to the hotel. Already at the parking we was greeted by staff who took care of our luggage. We became upgrade to a suite with a terrace. Due to the nice, relaxed surroundings at the hotel decided to stay at the hotel to enjoy the afternoon.l Ĺĺlllllllllllllĺ

Wonderful staff. Very helpful with the valet and providing a special experience at the end of our long trip. Beautiful room.
