"My friend and I stayed two nights at this property in the centre of Barry’s Bay and we’re very impressed with how clean and well appointed this recently refinished property was. "We had a wonderful weekend at this beautiful cottage. Amazing time spent with friends, and we were able to bring our 2 dogs which made the weekend extra special. The location was fantastic! We got delicious pizza from the coffee shop down the street, and it was only a short drive into Renfrew to pickup a few things we forgot. The house was well stocked with all of the amenities you need, and was great for entertaining. Looking forward to going back some day."

"We loved our weekend away and the house was just perfect for what we needed. Our kids all had a great time and enjoyed the board games and bunk beds. The place was clean and close to the ski hill. We woke up both mornings to deer on the property. It was so peaceful to watch the wildlife from the beautiful large windows while we had our morning coffee/tea from the provided coffee bar. We would definitely return if we are back in the area."

"We loved every minute. We can't wait to go back next year and book a longer stay. The loons were magical. The location was so peaceful and breathtakingly beautiful. Our beach was alittle rough for our 6yrs old but there was a public sandy beach a few minutes away. If you're attached to your cell phone this isn't your place. There is cell reception 15minutes away if need be. I honestly didn't miss having access. More time for family to concentrate on each other. If you go remember bug spray"

"This is our second time staying here. The cottage is spacious in a nice setting by a small river. We needed to use the portable air-conditioner due to the high temperature this long weekend. We enjoyed the 3 + 1 kayaks and a well-maintained play structure for the little ones. The fireplace in front of the house was removed, probably due to forest fire hazard this year. The drives from our homes were long esp. for a long weekend stay this year vs. a week long stay last year. Drawbacks this year...

"Cottage is incredibly comfortable with many little details considered. Honestly the best cottage I've stayed in and i would absolutely book again. Watching eagles soar right out window, nest very easily spotted with the binoculars provided, was a highlight. Lake is beautiful and cottage feels like a good friends place, super welcoming."

"We had a very enjoyable week at Loon Lodge. The property is ideally situated on a nice sandy beach with beautiful sunsets. The cottage is well equipped and nicely set back from the water. Lots of kayaking, cycling, and hiking nearby. I highly recommend this cottage."
