« Property is amazing! It's secluded and perfect for a family/group getaway. It is about a half hour from the nearest grocery store so come prepared with all your fixings. The glamping tent was romantic and cozy-the only thing I would say that you might need to be prepared is a small heater. We came when it got down to 55 degrees at night. There were plenty of blankets provided, but we also brought a small propane powered space heater and it was perfect! The area where the outdoor kitchen is...

But the door didnt lock, i didn’t feel very secure sleeping there with kids. The composting toilet was not exactly what i was expecting…it WAS a composting toilet but essentially it was going into a garbage bag. The wood stove worked nicely but the wood burned very quick and went out as you sleep so unless you add it all night you wake up cold. The bed had a kids...

She communicated clearly beforehand, had great information about the area waiting in the space, and leaving was very easy too. She even reached out to see if I needed to extend by a day. This is located midway between Eureka and Arcata and was very convenient. The kitchen had everything I needed and everything was clean and comfortable. I hope to return sometime. »

« While the room was clean, the two mattresses were appalling, seriously worn, slanted, and very squeaky. The shade was broken and water oozed up from the bathroom floor. The bed was pushed up against the heater and the curtains came down just above… total fire hazard. Even the microwave carousel was broken. The Lobby Computerized assistant that spoke with a very strong accent made my hearing impaired husband go bonkers. Just wow »

« Lovely place and just the right size for two people. Private and quiet. Super comfortable bed. Good location for walking to a few key places nearby. As seniors, it was a bit tricky to follow the rule to take shoes off outside and leave them outside (as opposed to taking them off on the mat immediately after entering), as it was difficult to then lift our bags in/out the door without getting damp/cold socks; but we managed! Would definitely stay here again. »
