The sunsets are equally as pleasing with a glass of wine or craft beer from one of the local breweries. Endless opportunities await you whether you park the car for your entire stay or use the cottage as your home base. Fish off the jetty or lounge with your toes in the sand on the beach both are just steps from the house. Conveniently located for deep sea fishing, parasailing, kayaking, learning to surf, exploring antique shops, visiting Dock Square in Kennebunkport or taking in a Sea Dogs game in Portland. There is no shortage of adventure to be found and memories to be made. Interior features include kitchen, dining room, sitting room and living room. Rounding out the first floor are two bedrooms one with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds, full bath and laundry. The second floor consists of two generous sized bedrooms both with king size beds and a jack and jill bathroom with double sinks and stall shower. We came with our family and kids and had a great fall weekend in Maine. Heather was super nice and communicative and even stocked the fridge and provided kites for our kids as well as sunscreen and bug spray. The house was very clean and neat and was a short walk to the nearby beach. Beautiful property and home in a great location. We wanted something within walking distance to the beach and this location had two beaches to choose from. The home was clean, nicely decorated and large enough to accommodate 6 adults and a 6-yr old. The kitchen was well stocked and there was a very nice outdoor patio and grill which we used. We really enjoyed sitting on the upstairs deck in the evening which had a beautiful view of the water; we were even able to catch some views of the 4th of July fireworks from a distance. The location was perfect. We visited Kennebunkport for some shopping and dinner and rented an electric boat from the Maine Electric Co in Biddeford which allowed us to take a cruise down the Saco River. Our hosts were very responsive and even left a goodie beach bag for our grandson which he loved! Would absolutely recommend. ##### Lori V. The house was beautiful, clean, well-stocked, and incredibly organized. We loved being within easy walking distance to 2 gorgeous beaches (And when I say easy walking, that includes for our two kids who are 4.5 and 1.5!) Heather was delightful to work with and answered all our questions before and during our stay. She even left the kids some little goodies which they absolutely loved. It has a great view of the water from the roof top deck and the upstairs bedrooms. We could hear the waves crashing all night and the quiet chug of the lobster boat going out early morning. The house was clean and very well equipped with everything you need. There is a nice beach close by and a quick drive to a few different towns. We would stay here again.
