Stroll through UC Berkeley's iconic campus where redwoods tower over historic buildings and free thinking thrives. Telegraph Avenue buzzes with bookstores and cafés while the Berkeley Hills offer hiking trails with stunning Bay views.
Having only a couple days to find a hotel for my first night in the Bay on a work trip, I had to 'settle' for the Berkeley City Club. Rates were amazingly good compared to the typical chain hotels, and it was close enough to the office. Man, what a find! I was very impressed with the building, the staff, the pool, and the history of the place. I would gladly come back. Great experience.

I don’t usually stay in hotels like this, but I was pleasantly surprised! Rooms were a bit dated but in good condition. There was no ac, it they had fans in place to make things comfortable. Hotel is run by a family who was very nice.

I must say I was pleasantly surprised with Nash hotel, apart from the shared bathroom, it's the most reasonable priced stay in very convenient location! As a single woman on a busy schedule at Berkeley not at hotel much, I would definitely stay again at this hotel. I felt I had a perfect room close to shared bathroom, there is a sink in rooms, room are clean, not luxury but reasonably comfortable, old carpet, had a fridge/microwave, elevator for luggage, close to restaurants/Trader Joe's,...

We were in town for a quick weekend to catch a couple Giants games and chose to stay at LUMA due to its very close proximity to Oracle Park.
Proximity to the ball park cannot be beat however know that traffic gets VERY busy in the area up to a couple hours before game time. We were often heading back to the hotel before game time so we got caught in traffic AND paid surge prices.
Hotel was super clean and comfortable, pleasant staff, everything you’d expect when paying these prices. Really...

Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was well set up and delicious. Rooms very nice, modern, and clean. Great location if going to Chase Centre or to a baseball game. Would absolutely stay here again!
