« The lodge was large (our family of 25) enough for us all to have family time as well privacy for each individual family. The game room offered fun on the rainy days & on good days the lake toys (belonging to the lodge) & our own boat gave us access to the lake. It was a fabulous week & all ages left expressing how fun it was. »

« We were so lucky to find this place! We were in town for a family wedding, so unfortunately had no time to enjoy the lake. But it's the perfect family home. It is spacious, comfortable, with lovely furnishings, including comfy beds and soft towels. There are many thoughtful amenities throughout -- staples in the pantry, Kuerig cups, condiment packets, toiletries people tend to forget. Plus, it's in a beautiful peaceful neighborhood. « This was our 2nd year at this house and 3rd staying in one of Carolyn's (and team) houses on a beautiful Minnesota lake. The house is updated and comfy for 6 adult women who each need our own bedroom and just a little fussy about the beds! And a big kitchen for cooking. The outdoor space is amazing, we lived on the covered terrace with the amazing lake view. We highly recommend this house! »

« My family and I had a great time staying at this house. We had 8 adults in our group and had plenty of room for everyone. It was clean and as described. The weather was a little cool but we were able to get some fishing in and catch a few. We also were able to do some other activities in the area. The host gave us good information and was great at communicating when necessary. We plan on staying here again next year! »

« I hosted a bachelorette party for my best friend with a total of 10 people. This house had more than enough space for everyone to stay and everyone to gather on both levels and outside! We rented a boat from Toontastic all weekend and really enjoyed ourselves! The house is a quick drive from Carlos creek winery and 20 minutes from Alexandria. In a quiet neighborhood on a dead end road so rarely we heard cars drive by! The bay we were in was quiet also. Will be recommending this house to friends...

« We had an enjoyable stay at this property. It was stocked with appropriate basics and felt welcoming. We used the kitchen and dishes, pots/pans and utensils were usable and available. Internet was useable and able to stream a movie. Dock for a couple of fishing boats. Nice composite deck to sit outside. Nice outdoor fire 🔥 area. Can’t control those Minnesota mosquitoes. Nice to have paddle boards available when the wind calmed diwn. »
