Bugs and creatures such as silverfish, earwigs, cockroaches/waterbugs, scorpions, spiders, wasps, mosquitoes, flies, snails, moths, ants, etc. are all very common in Texas and the South in general, and might show up in the home from time-to-time. The presence of a few of these critters does not indicate any sort of infestation in the home, as usually, it's just the critters trying to escape the blistering heat or the freezing cold like everyone else. As Texas temperature starts to heat up, please be aware that your units' AC may only cool down to a certain temperature, especially if the blinds are opened or the unit gets sunlight. Rest assured the AC is working fine as of this writing based on regular inspection One hallway closet will be locked and not accessible to guests as that is where we store our cleaning supplies and other essentials. Only our cleaning/maintenance team has access to that. We apologize for any inconvenience. There are various other closets and cabinets in the entire apartment to store your belongings. Ring security cameras located OUTSIDE of the unit by the front door and balcony sliding door. Records OUTDOOR video and sound for the duration of your stay. The drawback is that they ask you to agree to a criminal background check and store your biometrics (I declined) and they have a camera on the balcony that records audio and video (which no privacy). The space is great if you don't plan on doing much cooking. They are a bit stingy with towels (only 2, which is a challenge when you want to use the pool). The pool was a bit dirty the first day, but it was cleaned up. Contrary to what they told me when I inquired, the pool does not get full sunlight throughout the day and is basically in the shade starting at 2:30 - a bummer when the heat lasts well into the evening. Lastly, this is not managed by the owner, but a property manager, and thus you have to communicate with a number of people, who don't always have accurate information. ##### Cathryn C.
