Definitely one of best hotels I have ever been.
Clean and quiet room with a nice view on the sky tower. Comfortable bed and pillows.
Breakfast comes with a good variety of hot and cold options (you can order your own omelette).
Location is very convenient and walking distance to downtown and the harbour.
There are also bus stops by the hotel (public transport is very reliable).

We were at Imagine Beach Road for one night after landing in Auckland from a cruise. We arrived way before check in time & were given early check in & an upgrade. Our room on the 14th floor facing the city was spacious, clean & so comfortable. You’re pretty centrally located in town for restaurants & shopping. All walkable. Our room was so quiet we slept very well. The bathroom is unbelievable! I wish I could hire the guy who did the tile work. Stunningly beautiful! The staff is warm,...

The best area to stay in Auckland is the Central Business District (CBD), especially around the waterfront and Queen Street, for its convenience and access to attractions.
The CBD is Auckland's bustling heart. Queen Street is the main thoroughfare, stretching from the waterfront up to Karangahape Road, and is lined with shops, restaurants, and hotels. The waterfront areas, like Viaduct Harbour and Wynyard Quarter, are particularly appealing, offering a relaxed setting with many dining options right by the water.
Couples often find the Viaduct Harbour area particularly appealing. It's known for its many restaurants and bars with harbour views, and it's a pleasant place for an evening stroll. From here, you can easily access ferries to Waiheke Island for a day trip or explore the Maritime Museum.
For solo travellers, staying near Queen Street provides excellent access to public transport, including buses and the SkyBus to the airport.

When is the best time to go to Auckland?
The best time to go to Auckland is during the summer months, from December to February, when the weather is warm and sunny, great for enjoying the city's outdoor activities and island excursions.
During this period, the average daily temperature hovers around 24°C, with long daylight hours. It's an ideal time for exploring the Hauraki Gulf islands, such as Waiheke Island, known for its vineyards and beaches, or enjoying watersports along the city's coastline. Couples looking for a romantic getaway will appreciate the pleasant evenings for dining al fresco.
For those who prefer slightly milder temperatures and fewer crowds, the shoulder seasons of autumn (March to May) and spring (September to November) are also excellent choices. The weather remains pleasant, typically ranging from 18°C to 22°C, making it comfortable for sightseeing and exploring the city's many parks and cultural attractions. Solo travellers might find these times particularly appealing for a more relaxed pace.
