The staff were very pleasant and assisted with every query.

There were lots of great reviews about the hotel that was why I booked it. This hotel issues only 1 keycard per room so you’ll have to take it off of the slot where everything turns off when you leave. That’s ok, IF you have good ac. Our first room did not get cold so we were transferred to another room where you would have to set it to “boost”and the temp at the lowest setting for you to be at least comfortable. And mind you, it was VERY hot outside you sweat from every pore in your body. Then the shower gets clogged and does not drain fast enough so you end up standing on dirty water while and after showering. Also you would have to climb 3 flights of stairs to access the elevator then either climb one flight up or go one flight down to get to your room. The buffet breakfast was ok. What was really good about this hotel were the staff. They were extremely nice, polite, very helpful and accommodating. Yes, sometimes you get what you pay for but stayed in a hotel in bangkok with the same price if not cheaper, and that hotel was extremely gorgeous, modern, and clean, also with excellent service. Overall, would probably not recommend staying here.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel - the welcome from the team was personal and lovely, especially as I was travelling solo. I stayed in an Old Quarter Suite and it was perfect. Being in the heart of the Old Quarter the rooms are bijoux but still lovely and my room was at the back so overlooked other buildings but this made it quiet at night. The pool area is tiny but fine for a quick cool off on a hot day. Breakfast is great. The massage at the spa one of the best I’ve ever had. All in all great value, good location and lovely team.
