The hotel is in an excellent location, right in the center of Old Quarter. Breakfast was very good and offered a wide variety. The staff was helpful. I didn’t use the pool or exercise room. The hand soap in the bathroom smelled awful so I used the supplied body wash when needed. The shower had limescale from hard water and dark stains in the corners which could be mold. I’ve stayed at other properties in the same price range and have not encountered either of these issues. The air conditioning worked well.

Staff were lovely and location was great in Hanoi. However the plumbing wasn't the best and often left a smell. Also, I arrived early and they held my suitcase for me until check in time. Although this is kind, I would question the security behind this as i went in and out of that room a few times and other people's belongings were there. Seems like anyone could take it if they had to temporarily store something as well. Be aware it's very noisy on the street below.

"My stay at Aira was excellent. The staff are lovely and go above and beyond to make sure the guests are comfortable. The food in the restaurant upstairs was delicious and I had one of the best massages I’ve ever had at the spa. Highly recommend!"
