"A small authentic boutique hotel. Convenient location next to the tram station. Close to the beach & promenade. Clean room which were serviced daily. It also had the bonus of a small terrace to sit outside and free tea, coffee & pastries."

"The lady who checked us in was super helpful, spending more than 30’ with us explaining everything and giving us a list of restaurant recommendations (including what to avoid). Breakfasts were nice (although cold options only). The room was spacious with a great sea view. The location was right in the old town but quiet, just a flight of steps to get up to the church square. Park at Aparcamiento Palau de Altea so you have a gentle slope to walk up the old town."

"A brilliant apartment in a fantastic location. We loved our visit. The apartment is a little dated, but that didn’t detract from our holiday. Very spacious with excellent proximity to the pool(s). You will need a car, and parking can be tricky, but we always got a space. The complex itself is very well maintained and we felt extremely safe! We would definitely recommend. Fantastic property!"

"Our stay at Santa Bárbara Hotel was fantastic. The location in the heart of Altea’s Historic Center is perfect — everything is walkable, from restaurants to bars. The view from our room was stunning and made the experience unforgettable. The staff is genuinely friendly, and Madara welcomed us warmly with great recommendations — the communication throughout our stay was excellent. Be mindful that the hotel doesn’t offer parking since the area is fully pedestrian, but it was totally worth it for the charm, comfort, and overall experience. Highly recommended."
